After the meeting of programmers held in the sixth edition, (S8) calls a group of experts together to follow this enlightening discussion on how the programming of an event or venue is built. A meeting aimed at programmers, filmmakers, curators and cultural managers, and the public in general. Some of the topics that will be discussed at this meeting are: the selection criteria according to the place, the differences between the programmer’s and curator’s work, the exhibition formats, the agreements and disagreements between the theater and the museum, and the influence of internet when programming.

Chris Kennedy, executive director of LIFT, programmer of The Free Screen in Toronto Cinematheque and of the Early Monthly Segments series.
Olivier Dekegel, festival programmer of L’Âge d’Or Brussels.
Julian Ross, Associate Programmer and member of short film selection committee at International Film Festival Rotterdam. He has curated programs for Tate Modern, Anthology Film Archives, British Film Institute, Eye Film Institute, among others.
Andrés Denegri, director of Bienal de Imagen en Movimiento in Buenos Aires, researcher and curator.
Eugeni Bonet: curator and programmer, he has prepared seasons and exhibitions for institutions like IVAM, Museo Reina Sofía, Arteleku, the Centre d’Arts Santa Monica, Fundació Antoni Tàpies (Barcelona) and the Cinémathèque Royale de Belgique in Brussels.
